Hi, I’ve got hyperparathyroidism, am taking boron, turmeric, I read they’re suppose to suppress the parathyroid. Also am taking vitamin d 3 with K2 since they’re suppose to direct calcium from blood back into the bones. So my question is if I have so much calcium already in my blood, wouldn’t eating more calcium increase the problem? Thanks in advance
As far as I know about hyperparathyroidism, it is a very tricky thing. My mother has the same problem that you have and it’s tough to deal with; however I know that it’s recommended to still take calcium supplements because of your bones and bone loss. Depending on how high your calcium is, depends on how much you should be able to tolerate without jacking up your blood calcium.
